The client is a mid-sized D2C lifestyle brand known for its apparel and accessories. With a rapidly growing digital presence, the brand aimed to move beyond its existing web storefront and create a seamless mobile shopping experience. We designed and built a headless commerce mobile application powered by Shopify’s Storefront API, enabling a fully decoupled architecture that separated the backend from the front-end app layer.

  • Shopify Storefront API
    We leveraged Shopify’s GraphQL Storefront API to power the product catalog, pricing, checkout, and customer account management—laying the foundation for a seamless headless architecture.
  • Front-End Framework
    The mobile app was built on React Native to ensure cross-platform compatibility for both iOS and Android. Smooth animations and gesture-based navigation were integrated to deliver an engaging and intuitive user experience.
  • Custom Checkout Flow
    Shopify’s Cart API was integrated with native payment gateways such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, UPI, and PayPal. This streamlined experience reduced cart abandonment by 18%.
